Hamburg

Thursday 25th June - Sunday 28th June

Dear All

We have been invited to the 'Airbus HFB Motorfluggruppe Fly-In' in Hamburg on the above dates.

We would depart Wycombe on Thursday 25^th June, flight time approx 5 hours.

Friday 26th June there is a tour of the Airbus Assembly line and then a Hamburg harbour tour.

Saturday 27th June we can fly out to Peenemünde, the site of the German rocket development during WW2, flight time 2 hours each way.

Saturday night there is a dinner at an hotel in Hamburg.

Sunday 28^th June fly home.

Cost of the trip: about 14 hours flying shared between the crews of each aircraft,

Airbus tour 59 euro

Landing fee 20 euro

Hotel accommodation between 50 to 99 euros per night

Cost of the dinner on Saturday

We intend to take the Dakota and most of the Warriors.  Private owners may book direct at the above website.  Due to the length of the trip I don't think it is suitable for student pilots.
