March Midweek Fly-out to Sywell

The first of the monthly midweek fly-outs got off to a rather indefinite start as the current weather consisted of poor visibility and rain (which wasn't on the TAFs for that time). But as per the TAFs the visibility improved and the rain stopped and all the aircraft launched to make the most of the weather window before the forecast rain was due to arrive.

5 club Warriors, the Dakota and 2 Eurostars made the flight to Sywell landing on the newly licenced concrete runway 21R. The crew then had a rather longer lunch than anticipated in the Aviator Hotel looking out over our fleet and the airfield.

After lunch a well spaced out departure (all luck, no planning) was made for the flight back to Wycombe, before the rain arrived.
